UKD – Information for Academic Staff of the University Hospital of Düsseldorf (including physicians)
The Academic Staff Council of the HHU also represents the academic staff of the University Hospital (UKD), including physicians, regarding contractual matters. The reason for this is that although academic employees at the UKD sign their contracts with the UKD Human Resources Department, they legally conclude them with the HHU.
Separate council at the UKD
In addition to this, the UKD Academic Staff Council (a separate body) represents the scientific staff with regard to work organisation, occupational health and safety, holiday regulations, etc.
